   These are high quality poker chips that you might seen in a casino environment. When you have a friendly poker game at your house and bust these out, expect your buddies to drop their jaws. Not only does it label the value of the chip, which most people are not used to, but it has such a professional look to it. They stack and move across the table so nicely, I need to get a full set now!

   Chips are very uniform with the same printing on both sides. They have slightly rounded edges so they don’t feel sharp to hold. The gold ring is a reflective material with a repeating pattern. The edge marks are clear and unique. They shuffle in the hand well (they’re fairly smooth) and stack well but they are a bit too thin for me to easily pick up off a marble surface. Not a problem off a felt surface. Comparing them to common non-clay chips (slug weighted suit/dice style chips and blank diamond chips as shown in a couple of the photos): they have the same weight and heft as the suit/dice chips but a nicer texture. They are far superior to the unweighted non-clay diamond chip I compared them to. Overall, not a bad chip for the money.

   I ordered the 50 pack thinking it’d come with a variety of denominations per the photos, but it’s just a pack of $100 chips. Not a big deal for my use case, but it’s not what I was expecting. That said, the chips themselves look and feel great, though I don’t have anything else to compare them against except generic cheap/thin plastic chips.

   Seeing the quality of these chips, I would definitely consider getting an entire set of different values to use for poker. They are heavy and smooth – very easy to “shuffle”. They stack well and look and feel like the chips you get at a casino. I think given the quality, they are a good value for the price.

   When playing cards with friends I’m always low on black chips. This is one way to color up! Just kidding. However these are great chips. I did need more black ones and these were perfect. I don’t mind the Monte Carlo branding on them, but your mileage may vary. Overall pretty happy. The only issue is that the plastic around them in shipping broke, so instead of two neat rolls, I had a pile of chips.

You will definitely want to use a poker table with these chips, they make a satisfying thunk when they hit the table but could definitely scratch delicate surfaces.
