   These are solid, heavy chips with a great feel. However, they are definitely NOT clay as advertised. As if that isn’t bad enough, the chips looked used, faded, scratched and dirty. Also, every single chip (literally all 500) had a very visible defect that appears to be from the injection molding process used to make these chips. I was bummed out because they really do feel great (the only reason for 2 stars instead of just 1). But I expect to receive a new, non-damaged product when i pay for it to be as such. Buy at your own risk. I would not recommend.

   This is a good chip set, it is not perfect but it’s exactly what I wanted. These are composite chips, have a great weight, and feel, in fact they feel more like clay chips then any other composite chip I’ve handled, I think due to the fact that they seem to have a bit of texture on the surface and are not as smooth as the other composite chips I’ve seen, this also seems to give them a more Matt like finish to their color, making the colors just a little less bright (a feature I prefer). As another reviewer has mentioned every chip has a small imperfection, presumably where the material was injected in the mold, and as a different reviewer stated the chips came very dusty/dirty, but clean up pretty well but a few of the chips appear to have small stains that are the color of the “z” stripe. A picture is provided in order to try and better illustrate the colors with a separate set of composite chips I bought a while ago (they no longer seem to be made, I can not find them anywhere), and as is typical with these type of sets the case cards and dice are just About worthless. I store my chips in a Brybelly 1000 count acrylic case.

   I purchased a set close to 10 years ago, these are my favorite chips with a really nice heft and I like the way they look. Held up pretty well too. I just purchased a second set as my home game has grown. Was delivered yesterday and opened today. Many of the chips were delivered in terrible condition with scratches, marks and defects. The dealer chip is faded. It looks like these chips were used or returned and then randomly collected together for a “new” set. See pictures of a number of chips I am showing as example. My 10 year old chips are in better condition than the “new” ones ! Will probably return this even though I did need another set. Too bad… —- Update —- I returned the first set and got a second set. Slightly better than the first set, still many of the chips are damaged, off color or have minor defects. Since I need to expand my first set, I really don’t have much choice and will keep the second set. However, for anyone looking to get a good set of Poker chips, look elsewhere.

   If you’re like me, you might be viewing this product because you want a slightly nicer set of poker chips with a dash of differentiation. These fit that bill perfectly. They arrived quickly, the case was as good (for quality) as one can expect – it holds the chips nicely, is mostly solid, but like any free carry case it’s made somewhat “on the cheap”.

   Chips – no complaint. In fact, i really like them. They look awesome, they have a good feel, weight, and sound to them. They feel like a clay chip in the hand. They did not feel plastic-y. They arrived in the colors and quantity expected and without breakage.

   One poster mentioned little flaws in his chips- a small bump/ tab where the injector molding happened. This was not my experience at all.
