   My son got the 2022 Dimir Control deck for a birthday present and my old school decks weren’t cutting it so I picked up this deck. I have no interest in playing in a tournament with it so Fires of Invention being banned was no big deal. Anyway, it’s got a few fun strategies to use but the stock 2022 Dimir Control deck still wins against it 80% of the time.

   This was my first buy into Magic the Gathering.
   I love it, its competitive enough to hold my own against my friends who are all playing with $500+ decks and for less than $30 you can’t beat that.
   I would definitely recomend this and other Challenger decks to any newbies to Magic.

   This deck caught my eye for the number of cards it contained that I didn’t have in my collection. And as a commander player the standard deck was instantly dismantled and used for parts in 7 commander decks. Including allowing me to make a fun little eldraine superfriends deck.

    I liked how quick they came and that the product still factory sealed. I disliked that the deck box came dented, thankfully the cards inside were not damaged.

    Interesting deck with some cool planeswalkers cards. I’ve gotten 5 of these challenger decks since getting back into the game and they have all been really fun to play with. They have some cool mechanics and strategies behind them and match up fairly well against each other.

    Wizards just banned the key card in this deck, Fires of Invention, before anyone could actually play this deck at a Friday Night Magic event. If you need the other cards in the deck, it may be worth it to buy it to canabalize the deck. Just know that if you’re buying it to show up at your card strore with, you just threw away your money. This is a slap to the face for those who bought the deck in anticipation of stores reooening.

    Everything came as promised however with the recent fires of invention ban I would warn anyone off of picking up this deck in favour of one of the other challenger decks as this is no longer a standard legal deck straight out the box!
