I’ve been playing Akham horror LCG since 2016. I have a bookshelf full of these tiny un-stackable plastic blister packs. They are so impossible to deal with as they can’t be organized or presented nicely. Thank you Fantasy Flight Games for putting everything in beautiful, stackable, boxes. I’m also so glad that everything is being re-released using this packaging format, as it reduces plastic waste and just looks so much nicer in a boardgame collection.
As far as the actual gameplay and being happy with the components, I’m sure I will be. I haven’t yet gotten to it. If you are new to the game and wonder if you’d like it, I’d recommend doing the campaigns in order of their release (ie. start with the Core set)

I got the player cards and the adventure path and they did an awesome job with this campaign.
The player cards are great and the new way they’re doing the instruction book makes it a premium product.
The way they do the layout for the location cards in each adventure really adds to the campaign and makes them feel like they should.
For example one mission has you going to the mountain and the location cards are set with the next card above and to the right a little from the previous. So if you move right you’re going to the mountain and left is taking you down and it really adds to the atmosphere

This is a better campaign expansion than The Forgotten Age. DO NOT BUY The Forgotten Age. It can cause a person to not like Arkham horror with how poorly designed and difficult it is. The Edge of the Earth is wonderfully designed and not terrible like The Forgotten Age.

Game came in a box with some paper for padding. The game itself was in shrink and in mint condition, no damage to the box.
