- At MTG Decks & More we have a combined 50+ years experience building and playing decks from standard to modern to commander (and more!) We build powerful, fun decks. For sale is a 100 card custom Magic the Gathering Golgari (black/green) Squirrel Token commander Deck.
- This deck is an absolute blast to play. The deck primarily focuses on going wide: building up a huge army of squirrel and other tokens, and attacking with an absolutely enormous army of creatures.
- The deck uses Chatterfang’s powerful squirrel token generating ability, combined with a ton of other cards that generate tokens, to build an enormous token army. A number of different anthem effects (such as Chitterspitter, sylvan anthem, etc) as well as cards that buff your whole army (Return of the Wildspeaker, Overrun, etc) can make this enormous army of 1/1 tokens into a deadly threat.
- The deck also features a sub-theme of drain/life loss whenever a creature dies, so that even if your opponent is able to wrath the board, they will take a ton of damage, as a number of your creatures will cause your opponent to lose life whenever any of your creatures dies. Finally, the deck features a handful of potent removal spells to keep your opponent’s early threats at bay while you build up for army.

Fun deck but not worth the cost- TCGPlayer values it at about $70. Understand the time and energy spent to build it out is part of it but not at $200 and especially with no lands or tokens included.

If anything this is a Comilla deck since it’s black and green with chatterfang in it for new people your cards are the same collar as your commanders chatter fang would be mini green you’d need the other legendary squirll to legally use this deck in tournaments unless you use the legendary troll

I suppose I should have known, but being newer to magic I was just excited to get started. This was completely over priced. Lesson learned.

I received this deck as a gift when I asked for a commander precon for my birthday after all my decks were stolen. They were very kind and assumed the most expensive one was the best one. While the deck is entertaining to play and works well (thus two stars), when you look up the decklist provided it shows it is worth roughly $45 ($17 of which is in a single card, Gyome) not anywhere near $200. While some of this is likely due to the reprints in Bloomsburrow lowering the price of squirrels, the price difference is exorbitant. I, of course, will keep and look fondly at this deck as it was hand-picked by a loved one but to others I would certainly not recommend the product at its current price point.

I would say it’s a 95% complete deck it doesn’t come with any tokens which sucks. I added pitless plunderer and a few other cards to complete the deck! paired up chatterfang pitless plunderer can go infinite board wiping your opponent definitely one of my favorite decks
