- This is a powerful deck that’s a blast to play. The deck focuses on casting a massive number of vampire creatures and taking advantage of sacrifice and drain mechanics to generate massive amounts of value and overwhelm your opponent.
- First, the deck casts a number of vampire creatures with strong abilities that trigger when you sacrifice permanents. These include High-Society Hunter (+1/+1 counters, card draw), Vampire Gourmand (+1/+1 counters, unblockable), Vengeful Bloodwitch (drain). The deck then adds sacrifice outlets through cards such as High-Society Hunter, Vampire Gourmand, and Eaten Alive.
- The deck features a number of powerful removal effects such as Hero’s Downfall, Bake into a Pie, and Eaten alive, as well as a sub-theme of lifelink and effects that trigger from lifegain (Marauding Blight-Priest). Finally, the Cards such as Phyrexian arena adds massive card draw to fuel your strategies, and Vampire Soulcaller allows you to return creatures from your graveyard.
