   We got this game for our boys(just turned 3 and 8) for Christmas because we wanted a game that we could all play together! This game is relatively simple and teaches color matching and taking turns! Our kids absolutely love it….as do we! We have played it quite a few times and the boys have a lot of fun everytime we play! It is definitely a game to be played on the floor with lots of space! We enjoy playing it and spending time together! Our 3 year old picked it up really quickly and loves to congratulate whoever makes a snake! Yes, the game is simple but I think that is what makes it so much fun! Not everything needs to be complex to make kids happy! I do think it would be a great idea to purchase two sets like a few other reviewers recommended, so you can have more heads and tails to make more snakes! It’s a very simple, exciting game for kids to play with parents or anybody else that loves a good game of fun!

   We love this game! It’s hard to find games that are great for really young kids but even my 3 year old can play this with a little help. It entertains my 6 year old and my husband and I don’t mind playing it (which we all know is very important). The tiles are colorful and fun and are made of a thick cardboard that is very durable. My 3 year old has done all sorts of maneuvers with them and has yet been able to bend one. The only thing I would change is to add a couple more multicolored heads and tails to make it easier to end snakes. But overall a great game!

   so we turned it into a “1-2-3-draw!” game. we both draw cards at the same time out of a slurry of upside down HISS cards… and i lead the 3 yr old by example. it’s entirely his favorite game, we’re good for 2 rounds at a time before he gets his typical easily-distracted-self back. Lotto was the #1 game (’70s version tho, “merry match-ups”) until HISS joined our lineup. smart boy, but we have to work hard on attention span to group activities and taking turns. this is a game that lets us work gently on both, as it’s evolving into a turn taking game like it ought to be. good idea to buy two games (read on another review), as we do end up with unused cards at the end (stressful to him, so we together rework the snakes to fit them all in in as few moves as possible..good gentle strategizing) occasionally, tho i think we’d only get one round out at that rate. great game, i’ll be giving it at the 4yr old bdays we have coming up this summer. little sister chewed on a couple cards, but he’s not savvy enough to have noticed it’s on a rainbow card yet… haven’t contacted Gamewrite to inquire on a replacement card yet, tho it’s on my list of things to do. LOVE this game. 😀

   The Hiss Card Game is colorful, easy to play, and beats Candyland if you are the adult playing it with a little one.

   Color matching, building the longest snake, and building the most snakes which you must then count are some of the ways we’ve tried to play this game with our grandson. At two years old, he isn’t quite ready to sit still and play a game, but I am a firm believer that starting card and board games early-on is a good thing. In addition to honing thinking skills, game-playing teaches social skills, face-to-face interaction, and taking turns which are important skills for little ones to acquire. I also select games that are recommended for an age range that is a bit older than the child receiving the game. This encourages parents or older siblings to “help” the little one learn the game and to play it, too.

   Hiss is a game that you will enjoy playing. It is a game to play on the floor and one that everyone can have fun doing.

    Okay. So my family LOVES this game. It’s fun and colorful and we always have a blast. We only have one complaint: there just aren’t enough cards. They are super durable and made out of cardboard, but I feel like if you made them out of regular cards and doubled (or even tripled) the amount of cards, you could have a dynamic game that lasts longer than 5 minutes.

    So much fun, but over super super fast.
