Powerful deck, very beginner friendly and anyone playing a Convoke deck at the table being too afraid to use said Convoke deck with the set up synergy, huge defensive energy kept me alive the longest out of anyone and since no one wanted to pay 2 mana (at first 2) then onto the 4 mana cost to attack me, keeping me alive to the point I was effectively targeted last as I built up an army.
A great deck if you want to play defensive and build up a wonderful army.

My friends told me about Magic and I started playing with their extra decks. But I wanted one that I could customize and upgrade. For the cheap price it was a great set. I defeated my friends in game night which was a big plus. The downside is the only way to get it at a reasonable price is to get the minimal packaging one which breaks down very easily. Overall a really great starter set.
