First off, love the minimal packaging! I’m still using both of the boxes it came in as card storage, so it was a nearly zero-waste purchase!
As commander decks go, this one is scary good out of the box. My first precon was the Feline Ferocity deck back in 2017, and I ended up splitting that one into two different decks to get the most out of it. I haven’t touched this one yet, and it’s already gotten me a handful of wins with my friend group that meets regularly. Very excited to throw some beefier cards in there and see what happens!

Saving a couple bucks for more efficient packaging is great. You only miss out on the big box and lunch out tokens. You still get everything else (deck, tokens, deck box, life counter, fake commander card).
I like to upgrade the precons and this one is so much fun. It’s already pretty good right out the gate, but add in a few better lands and some mana rocks like Than Dynamo and talisman of conviction and you’ll be fully juiced in no time.

The strongest Commander deck of Strixhaven. While it’s not the “college” I prefer (I’m a Witherbloom girl), I couldn’t pass up purchasing this deck, mainly for some of the cards that I could put in other decks I have. For example, I was able to put Hellkite Tyrant in my Magda deck. I might play this deck but I feel like everyone is playing this commander rn so probably later down the road, I’ll invest upgrading and playing this commander. Otherwise, buy this commander box! WOTC did a good job with the deck itself and its packaging! Worth it!
