   I was super excited to get these decks as I am new to magic and thought this would be perfect to begin with. When I opened the decks all was good except the green deck. The green deck was misprinted and now I can’t even use it! UPDATE: I contacted the buyer and he replaced my deck within a few days.

   I saw reviews saying the codes don’t work and that they expired July 1st.

   Mine wouldn’t redeem saying it had already been used or expired. I checked and it said it expired on July 1st.

   I eventually figured out that the capitalization of letters has to match exactly. My computer was auto capitalizing the first letter making the codes invalid. So just double check if you are using lowercase that matches.

   All codes worked after I did that, even though they all said they expired July 1st on the cards.

    If what you are looking for is something to get for a beginner or have a game night with friends with some decently balanced decks then this is for you. If you are looking to buy these cards for MTG Arena online, do not, as they are not usable in standard/ranked format online and will be useless except in historic or dueling friends. Got for myself as I was looking to teach some friends on how to play. One of the decks was slightly underpowered and had some issues but the others were good to play against eachother with. In current times these decks are very weak against people who make their own so do not expect to be able to play against everyone you meet and stand a chance with these decks.

    I am a newbie. I bought these cards because I have been having fun with MTG Arena and wanted to get some physical decks. I don’t consider myself a collector of these cards, right now. I just bought these because I find the game challenging and fun. I am a board game collector. From a board game perspective, there is a lot of value here. So much fun just learning about the cards and practicing with them. Some people I know think it is expensive for cards, but not at all. This is very cheap and a great value. Look at the many card games on the market at stores like Target. Many of them are $30 – $50 and their replay value and collector value is just not there. How many times can you play a game about Unicorns or Hamsters before you fall to sleep. MTG is a game that can grow with you through the years and continues to expand. From what I have read these are designed to be beginner cards (which is exactly what I wanted), but many of the cards are very good and I have gotten some good cards from the includes packs. I am very happy with these cards and I appreciate the seller providing these cards at a cheap cost and fair value, so that people like me can get into the game/hobby. Also, the boxes are designed to fit sleeved cards!

    Great way to start into MTG. Sets are playable right away. Cards were factory sealed. Of of the Planeswalker cards has a factory crease on top but that is the fault of the production not the seller. They put the PW cards on the top which exposes them to being bent — it would be smarter to put them on top of the sealed deck. Oh well. At roughly $10 per deck, this is excellent value. Elsewhere these decks sell for $20 or more each.

    This is not for veteran players. But is highly recommended for new players. I use this decks straight out the box, to teach new players how to play MTG.
