   Munchkin is a wonderful game, easy enough to play with kids, more than entertaining enough for adults. I personally own over a dozen Munchkin games, and many accessories and add ons for them. Munchkin Legends is a great addition to that collection, with a single but.

   Just don’t let this one be your only set, or your first one. The cards are as well-illustrated, funny, and cool as in any Munchkin set. I just don’t think it stands well on its own. The mythological additions to the Munchkin canon go well with the D&D pastiche of the core game, and should be used with it, like a super expansion set.

   I don’t have to tell that to Munchkin aficionados. Mixing and matching sets is what we do, and it keeps the game fresh while we wait on the pizzas, right? But for those just starting out on their Munchkin journey, I recommend getting this one only after you’ve grown to love the core game, as you will. Then Munchkin Legends will spice up your games without seeming slightly incomplete as it does taken alone.

   The munchkin games are great, what this legends version lacked was a board, you don’t really need one, but if this is your first munchkins you will have to make a board up, which is great if you have a way with arts and crafts cutting and sticking, but for the price you would expect a board. Anyways the game is great and a hoot to play you just have to really go for it and don’t feel foolish when bashing down door and begging for help to defeat monster and other players.

   This is a great game, but compared to original Munchkin it is nothing special. I have Super Munchkin, Munchkin Apocalypse, Good the Bad and The Munchkin, Star Munchkin, and Munchkin Impossible. Each of those provides enough of a new theme to be enjoyable, Legends is just kind different pictures on the standard cards.

   I give any of the other Munchkin a 4.5-5 star rating, this one just lacks the originality.

   It’s Munchkins with Mythological items, do I need to spell out awesome? I bought this as a gift for a friend and she ripped it open right then and demanded we all play. It ended up with one ticked off kid (bad me, I heard him counting his attack points and thought he was a level nine so I heaped the hurting on a level two) a YouTube visit, two discussions on the supposed origins of the item in question and a quick trip to Wiki for an education on one.

   I own three varieties of Munchkins and have five expansion decks so I’ve begun to cool on adding but this is one that’s being added to the collection. Super fun and appeals to everyone!

   We got the original game in college. This add-on revives the fun we had back then. As long as your kids are reading age they will have fun. Older adults will enjoy the childish puns on each card.

   This is a great game-perfect combination of strategy, luck, and enough nerdiness to keep things interesting. Takes a little time to fiugre out, but past the first round of turns, everyone will have a hang of it and fun can commence.

   Very entertaining. This was our first expansion purchased, and it’s a lot of fun! We’ve played with it (along with the base game cards) twice now, and still each game there’s new stuff to see. I really love the monsters in this set, and the “go up a level” cards are hilarious.

   I’m not sure what else to say. If you like Munchkin, this is a great expansion to have.

   I have yet to find a version of Munchkin that I do not love- that being said there are so many I don’t think I could ever own them all let alone play them all more than once. I do not feel that full advantage was taken of the title “LEGENDS” – yes I do realise that there is a 2 and 3. It just didn’t feel as clever or witty as the others- that being said there is never a bad game of Munchkin played so it was fine- but we weren’t blown away.

    I will start by saying that if you have the original Munchkin, you can just skip this game and get a different set. This is essentially the same as the original game, but the cards are based off of mythological creatures instead of RPG creatures. If you have the full Munchkin set, and want a smaller deck for when you’re just playing with a few people, this is still a great option.

    I think the best description of how fun this is would be that I can get the kids (12-17 years old) to fold up laptops and turn off the Xbox with a single word …… “Munchkin?”.

    -It’s a very fun strategy and competitive game.
    -Object is to have armor and different types of attacks
    -You fight monsters.
    -If you defeat, you get treasures like armor
    -There are different classes, dwarfs, warriors
    -Different races like elf
    -It’s a fighting game in a card version

    This set is a great extension for the base Munchkin game or good as a stand alone game, although I would recommend getting the edition with the board if you have not played Munchkin before.
    The cards in this set have breathed new life into the standard munchkin game, creating hours more fun. It also comes in a smaller box that makes it good for travel.
    Overall I would definitely recommend this expansion for any munchkin enthusiasts.

    Everything came accordingly, except by the day of arrival, which was postponed one day, and because of that I couldn’t play as planned with my friends on the weekend, I had to wait until monday.
