For those buying cards for a Pokémon fan, all things labeled as “decks” contain exactly 60 cards, usually inclusive of the shiny card on the front of the container. You can look up what cards they contain online by deck name! If you’re looking for more variety, get booster packs!!

After what seems years of disappointment and hundreds of $ spent on so-so theme decks, the Pokemon folks finally hit the spot with this deck. It won’t win tournaments, but it’s super solid and well rounded. Definitely very well built and thought out. Generally, I have to tweak theme decks quite a bit to make them perform decently. This deck was a pleasant surprise. It came out swinging out the box and once you ramp up your active, it won’t be long till you burn through 6 prize cards or your opponents concede. Well worth the money, imo.

I have this deck and I can say that this is a very well made theme deck. During battle, this deck does not disappoint, it does indeed play very well and does keep the thrill of the game alive. This is a nice and balanced deck that is enjoyable to play right out of the box. With the assistance of the trainer cards, it helps a bit to evolve your Pokémon in play to very powerful evolutions. Using some of those powerful moves that the evolved Pokémon like Unfezant or even Zacian can perform to leave an opponent in dismay makes this a very fun and thrilling deck to play in the Trading Card Game.
