I purchased this set to use for out door gatherings. I was looking for an inexpensive yet durable set of chips to replace the cheap plastic ones we had been using for years. This set exceeded my expectations. The chips themselves are solid and appear to be well made and durable. The set came in an outer cardboard box with very little in the way of packing material. The carrying case handled the stress of the trip and is still Square and true, the hinges work and it appears to be no worse for the trip. I would point out that the cards are not what you want when hosting a poker or blackjack party, my grandchildren will get the cards along with the cheap plastic chips this set is replacing. I would definitely purchase this again, and in fact I see a few names on my Christmas list that would appreciate this set.

I looked at the cheaper sets and noticed that the chips were quite a bit thinner. So I purchased this set with the more traditional chip thickness. Worth the higher price in my opinion. Arrived quickly, packaged very well and I’ve got to say it’s a really nice set and case. The case is sturdy, the chips are very nice and the set has everything you’ll need for poker night. I highly recommend this poker set.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this chip set. I saw there were a couple negative reviews, but they were an excellent price on sale so decided to take the plunge and order. On any item, I figured there are always some people that will never be satisfied.
The chips are all the same size and dimensions. They have an excellent weight to them and came with no blemishes. It was very satisfying to toss them into the pot. They make a nice sound.
I really do like this set and have no complaints. I realize they aren’t exactly the same as casino quality but they are very close to it. For the price you’d be hard pressed to find any other set that is comparable quality in my opinion.
I’ve played awhile back on a friends set they ordered online and the chips were lighter and had some scratches on them. You can’t tell the quality of an item from a picture alone so it’s hard to separate these sets from each other as many look the same on here. The 500 chips that came with this set are excellent quality and allow many people to play. It also comes with two separate playing card decks which I found very adequate as well. All in all I rate this set 5 stars.

Gave this as a gift to my dad , keep in mind we live in Vegas , and he spent many years playing craps at the casinos , he was completely impressed by the feel of the chips , I could not believe how heavy the package was when it came in the mail. I love the dice too and it has a very nice sturdy carrying case.
I never tried the playing cards. I needed the chips to complete a dice table I made for dad.
It arrived on time for my dads 92 nd birthday and made a very old man happy !

I liked the price of this used set, $27 with tax, which is half the price of brand new. I am completely happy with this purchase, the offer said it was in acceptable condition which is the lowest rating, so I expected it to be rough. I liked the fact that when it arrived it contained the full 500 chips, two brand new sets of playing cards, all the dice, and the buttons – so it was a complete set. What was not so great is that the case was open and chips were everywhere in the shipping box, it took about a half an hour to get it all organized and usable. The case it self is really pretty flimsy, I am glad I did not pay full price for this, I had to carefully bend it back into some semblance of shape. Great deal for me, I am happy, it met my expectations which were pretty low.

The chips are great material and weight. Great set overall. The only reason I gave 4 stars is I was disappointed when the case itself came with a small hole on one side and the inside tray is made of a very flimsy plastic material that came cracked on one side already. Maybe work on a different material for the tray but otherwise love the set.
