All the pieces look great the instructions are very detailed and I have yet to play it but I’ll definitely keep you posted as I move forward and enjoy the game.    If you are fan of Onward and table top Role Player Games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Then this set is excellent. It is great for a family just starting to get involved. The theme is fantastic and has really captured what is portrayed in the movies. The set up and play is easy and has minimal effort. It is a fun way to get into the Tabletop Role Playing world while being very fun and not having to be necessary serious.

   Have yet to play but the rules seem very kid friendly and seems like a good start for new players to role playing games. Art work is nice and that they made the game to be as close to what Barley played in the movie is a nice touch. Downside’s Miniatures are pointless as you don’t need them and only one adversary has a miniature. The cardboard components are flimsy. The included campaign book is great and has 11 campaigns and you can create your own however unlike other rpg games there are no resources to create the campaigns (pre made adversary’s traps, locations etc) lastly there are some rule discrepancies between the player manual and the quest master book.

    (Many items pictured in uploaded photos are my creation and / or from other parts of my collection and not included in the game) I’ve been playing fantasy role-playing games since the early years of D&D, and I’ve been publishing FRPG material for half that time. I am definitely not the intended audience for this product. That said, it impressed me with an elegant, approachable, easy-to-play design and sufficient depth to support a mini-campaign for those with a desire to take it more seriously than the occasional one-off session. While I very much felt the game was suitable for people new to role-playing, this review is more for those with FRPG experience and desire for a product with a little more meat than “baby’s first role-playing experience”. Also, keep in mind, I have not played their pre-written content. I created a custom adventure (from whence Winged Kitteh comes) for my family group. While relatively simple in design, I found the system lended itself very well to a cinematic, scene-to-scene style of play. I planned out each scene on simple cards, then flipped through them to run the game. Transitions between scenes were either narrated or implied, so we really only focused on the action bits. The result was fast paced and a great deal of fun for everyone. As such, I would recommend this to gamers of all experience levels. With a little bit of elbow grease (picture of my craft table as I plotted our adventure), even the bloodied veterans among us can have fun with it.
