   Summary: In this game, players divide into two teams of investigators trying to find three pieces of evidence and get back to your sponsor before the other team does. Each team divides into one Intelligence Officer and as many detectives as players left. Bottom-Line Up-Front, I highly recommend this game! (Please see the enclosed pictures.) The game is played in real time. There are no turns between teams, but moving too quickly can cause the team to make errors. The Intelligence Officer has a mini-map (map card) that shows where the clues can be found, where the police are, and where the client is. The Intelligence Officer is not allowed to communicate with the detectives except for using the included picture cards. There is a pool of ten picture cards to choose from. The Intelligence Officer is allowed to put down one or two picture cards instructing the detectives to move one or two spaces. The detectives are allowed to talk, and then collectively they decide which space to put the investigator playing piece on. Spaces can have one of three outcomes: nothing, gain a clue, or acquire a police chit. If your team gets three police chits then the other team wins. If you can guide the team to three clues and then back to the client before the other team then you win! On to the Dr Games’ Criteria … GO/NO GO Criterion • Complexity: (GO) There is enough complexity and variety to make the game interesting. (All of the combinations of map sheets, mini-maps, picture order, etc. are enough to ensure that you will probably never play the same game twice.) The basic mechanics are simple enough to allow even 4-5 year olds to participate. (The Intelligence Officer should be an adult or older child.) • Balanced: (GO ) The two teams are completely balanced. • Chance (GO) The randomness of the mini-maps and picture cards ensures variety. • Clarity: (GO) This is one of the few games where reading through the well done rule book actually does tell you everything that you need to know to play. • Reasonable Time: (GO) A game can last anywhere from five to twenty minutes. Bonus Criteria • Social: While the Intelligence Officer cannot speak with the detectives, the detectives must interact in a social way. Additionally, I found with our groups that they often tried to mislead the adversaries too. It was a hoot! • Unique/Interesting Mechanics: The non-speaking, communicating through pictures role of the Intelligence Officer was cool. • Informed: The game is loaded with pictures of and words from Amsterdam. It also is a great teaching game for learning about things like analogies, etc. • Rewards Throughout: Each time you find a clue or get a police chit, the balance changes. It makes for an exciting, fun game. I highly recommend this as a wonderful, family game!

   Competitive teams race to interpret pictures handed to them by the clue giver which pushes them across the map to collect clues and solve the crime. It happens pretty quick and is a great opener. There is not a lot of interaction between the teams, more of a race than anything. If mysterium was fun but too long and frustrating, this solves that. If your group likes codenames but wants a fresh variation, this works too. AND ITS CHEAP. No risk, all reward.

   Très bon jeu entre amis. Nous avons passé un super moment de franche rigolades. Les deux équipes’affrontent simultanément ce qui créer une adrénaline des plus amusantes. Faire deviner les bonnes tuiles à travers des images ce n’est pas évident mais sinon ça ne serait pas aussi amusant. Allez y les yeux fermés achetez le vous ne le regretterez pas. Ici il est adopté 👍🏻
