  • THIS IS AN EXPANSION TO STAR WARS OUTER RIM: This is not a standalone experience. You will need a copy of the Star Wars Outer Rim base game in order to play with this expansion.
  • TAKE TO THE STARS AND BECOME A LIVING LEGEND: You’ve made a name for yourself in the Outer Rim, but there is still Unfinished Business. Hyperlanes through the Core Worlds hold the promise of untapped opportunities. The market is flush with new merchandise, from valuable cargo to tools of the trade. Just watch your step; the latest crop of bounties is even deadlier, and your rivals are looking to take you down!
  • STRATEGY GAME: The goal of Outer Rim is to be the first player to reach ten fame, but the path to notoriety can be different for every scoundrel. Cross paths with the various factions patrolling the Outer Rim, bring in iconic Star Wars characters dead or alive for bounties, or make a fortune delivering illegal cargo, dodging patrols and encounters across the galaxy.
  • UNFINISHED BUSINESS: This long-awaited expansion is packed with more of everything the game has to offer – characters, ships, gear, bounties, jobs, encounters, dice and more! Two new tiles allow players to cross the galaxy by passing through the Core Worlds, and the new “favors” and “ambitions” change up how the game is played. Fire up your engines—it’s time to get down to business.
  • NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: Star Wars Outer Rim is a strategy board game for 1 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 14 and older. Average playtime is approximately 3 to 4 hours.

    If you’re a board gamer who digs the Star Wars universe, this should hit all the right notes. Easy to learn, better with this expansion, total fun and easy to connect with others over. (Pro tip: if you have a 3D printer there’s some great game organizer designs out there for this one.)

A few of my pro’s the game board is built sturdy an added expansion fits perfectly with the same quality as the original. The new cards and caracteres add so much replay value be ready to keep this one on the table.
    Con’s -The game can be a little confusing so I recommend watching some videos online on how to play.

    After playing a few solo games of Outer Rim, I decided I loved it too much to not invest in the expansion. Outer Rim is one of the best solo games I’ve ever experienced due to the clever AI deck which allows you to feel you’re playing with someone else–and, Unfinished Business has a bounty hunter deck and AI deck which allow solo players to play with more than one AI player! It’s one of the best solo mechanics in any modern game. So, whether you’re playing a game night with friends, or using the AI deck, you will always have the option to play against another player, and that makes this board game worth the investment of time and credits spent. Personally, Outer Rim has quickly entered my top 5 games of all time, and I hope more expansions are released. I also really love being able to jump from one side of the board to the other–it saves time while searching for bounties, plus the amount of codex cards and encounter cards in the expansion add tons of cool scenarios and laughs to an already super fun game. If you like Outer Rim, you’ll love Unfinished Business!
