This is not a good product for people wanting to get into this game. Instead I recommend the Death Star 2 pre-constructed decks. The decks in this product and the Luke and Vader are awful. The reason I’m giving this 2 stars is because it isn’t the seller’s fault, but decipher for making a garbage product.

Item shipped in Star wars box but was filled with star trek cards and pieces of paper in card protectors. Order was clearly not checked.

Very basic decks.

If you are interested in playing the Star Wars CCG on the tabletop, rather than the computer, than this is definitely the way to start. The rules are a bit confusing, but after reading through the rulebook a couple of times and playing a few games, most players should understand it pretty well. While I own well over a thousand cards to this game, I still add several of the cards from this set into my decks. Most, if not all players, new or old, should find this set to be very useful.

Those who were adolescents during Lucas’ re-release of the original trilogy during the 1990s may remember an older sibling or parent with Star Wars trading cards; the Star Wars customizable card game (SWCCG) produced by Decipher and distributed by Parker Brothers was a product discontinued before its time. As an excellent starter set, the Premiere Introductory Two Player Game set facilitates enjoyable, non-repetitive gameplay without demanding a large collection of a now discontinued product.
While an excellent game for fans of the Star Wars saga, SWCCG can quickly become very expensive as one attempts to locate the cards necessary to build a physical deck with sufficient viability in the tournament circuit. Thus, unless the intent is to specifically collect SWCCG paraphernalia or unless nothing quite satisfies the senses like crisp cards between your fingers, it would be best to first experience the game virtually, by way of a free application downloadable from starwarsccg.org, home of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game Players Committee.

I never could figure out how to play this game. Force drain is weird and the mechanics for some cards are weirdly out of place.
Seems like an awesome game if you can puzzle out the advanced mechanics but good luck

This was actually missing 2 cards, not one. Still, for the price I am satisfied. I plan to replace the missing cards with some random ones. The game itself is really fun and I can’t wait to play it again soon!
