On one hand the hobbyist in me loves this as a diorama, even if the price is a bit high. On evey other front, this is not a good product in the shatterpoint line.
Normally we pay around $50 for 4 models, or $75 for a terrain pack filled with things to improve your gameplay experience. This is more than a terrain pack, but you won’t be able to use any of it in a game. So this comes down to an extra expensive character pack with only 2 units in it. It should have 2 extra units, or be half the price. This kind of thing makes me nervous about the future of this game and I hope these characters are available elsewhere. Until then I recommend taking the two spare bases from the core and proxying these two iconic characters.

Love getting to see these characters brought in so early on in the game. Both pieces fit into multiple eras, which makes them really fun from a squad building perspective. Great buy!

Awesome display piece. Vader and Ob-wan are both excellent sculpts and the detachable scenery for play is actually quite nice.
