- Prepare to play Stare! – where a blank stare won’t do! In this engaging game, you’ll need more than just a gaze—you’ll need to sharpen your eye for detail. Each card presents a unique image that challenges your recall. How much can you remember?
- Every round is a race against time! Quickly stare at the image on the card—whether it’s a quirky illustration, a funny photo, a comic, a work of art, or something else entirely. Once the timer starts, you’ll have just 20 seconds to absorb as much information as possible.
- When time is up, you’ll be quizzed on what you observed. Did you catch who the woman is talking to at the party? Can you spot the animal wearing sunglasses? Each question challenges your recall and attention to detail.

- Stare! is the perfect choice for adults & family game nights. Recommended for ages 15 & up. Suitable for 2 or more players/teams.
- Ready to take on the challenge? Watch the video to see a round in action. Are your powers of observation sharp enough to win? Try it out and find out!

Nice game, the pictures seem a little dated.

Love this game! I use this to practice visual memory and attention to details with some of my students who have difficulty with those things. So far, it has been very much enjoyed by all of them who have played it – ages 7 – 16. I’ve also played with my 9 year old nephew and his grandparents (in their 70s), and they all enjoyed it too!
It’s easy to learn how to play, moved pretty quickly, and you can personalize it based on level by adding or subtracting time to stare at the pictures.

We love games and this looked like a lot of fun. We liked it, but definitely not our favorite. Can’t wait to try with bigger group

The ratings of this game just go to show you how not everyone has the same likes/dislikes. I ordered this game and chose the 1 day shipping because I wanted it here to play with family on New Years Eve. We are all adults, the youngest being 20 and the oldest 59. we all eagerly sat down to play this game. It quite frankly sucked after a very short amount of time and that was a UNANIMOUS feeling!! The cards are not nice clear pictures, rather they look like retro stylized drawings and were mostly old movie fliers, etc. If you are someone who wears bifocals, forget it as there are many small items and often they are not very clearly depicted. Then you get 20 seconds (and we all agreed it wouldn’t matter if you had 2 minutes)to memorize. The part that ruins the whole game are the extremely obtuse, off the wall questions that are asked. Also, you don’t get the answers, so even the person asking the questions has to spend time looking at the tiny picture filled with poorly depicted items to determine if your answer is correct. It took us several hours of laborious, painful play to finish and we all vowed to never play again. So, I am out $30+ Anyone want to buy my slightly used (1x!!!) game for $20??? Yes, I will take a loss, but better than being out the entire amount. Way disappointing!

Overall the game was engaging, I enjoyed it. Moved a bit slow-according to one person who played it but it is a board game and not a fast-moving video/electronic type activity. Some design/flow flaws and definitely made for people who enjoy somewhat of an intellectual exercise. Did not sustain the interest of some of the people who played with me, but others really liked it, so again, it appeals to those with a bent towards challenging themselves intellectually.

Five stars for fun! This was a Christmas gift that was thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family (two adults, three kids ages 7, 9 and 15). It is certainly not your run-of-the-mill game, which hits you the minute you open the game box for the first time and see the set of image cards. It is so different from other games we have played. Stare at images, ask questions…a completely social and interactive playing environment. The cards are great, and you never know what type you are going to get until you pull your card from the box. Some tell visual stories, some feature wonderful images from yesteryear, and some are just plain interesting to look at. Very amusing and fascinating. We often take quick breaks to stare at the images even after the cards have been played, just to smile a bit longer and catch up on the details we may have missed the first time around. Playing in teams makes the game especially lively since you can debate answers with partners. Just great.

Well I ordered a third edition new game . I received a used second edition game smelling slightly of mildew. I am sending this back and will not reorder.

I bought this game for my collage age son as a gift. The game I bought was for adults, but I do know that the child version of the game is so much fun for the little ones.
