   this is a game that seems complex at first. but once you play the first game you pick it up really quick. the day after i got this i had 4 friends over and we played it. only one of us had any experience with munckin games before and the rest of us were newbies. after around 15 min of explaining the rules we got to playing. and it was never dull. alliances, trade, and backstabbing was common place at the table where 5 players vived for dominance. one player tried to buy his way to winning, another kept beating down monsters, one tried to play the sneaky game and trade for a ton of one shots and level up cards. a two player alliance was also formed and an all out brawl to stop one player from assenting two levels was some of the highlights. very fun, very easily to learn. would highly recommend it.

   This set was exceptionally well designed! Love all the new races and classes. Docking one star because the cardboard insert that came with the base game box didn’t allow much room in the box and without it, the cards just move about.
