Get your terminology correct. Mage Noir uses the deck construction mechanic to build your deck, not deck-building. These are two very different things. Deck construction involves customizing your deck from nothing following some basic guidelines prior to actually playing the game. Deck-building, on the other hand, starts each player with a basic deck which they add to through choosing or purchasing cards through the actual play during the game. Very different concepts for very different styles of game play. I love deck-building and dislike deck construction. I would have never requested this game if the proper terminology had been presented.
