This is a value set, and has some pretty cool cards in it. At the price, it's not bad. Monster Slots is a pretty cool card. Number 39 Utopia is simply awesome! (He's the one on the front of the packs.) I also managed to pull 2 Starfoil Gilford the Lightnings, which was very awesome.

Product I received was not as described. The tin is completely different than the authentic one, plus the seal is obviously home done/ resealed. Items inside are fake. Save your money and go get one from Target- if you bought this don't bother returning it because the seller takes half of what you paid as a 'restocking fee' plus makes you pay to ship it back.

I'm a new player, but I was impressed with this set. The color distribution is very even throughout and the packs proved useful in building decks. The fold-up guide provided helped a ton, and I was able to make 3 solid decks with the cards provided. I pulled a holographic out of one of the packs, though your mileage may vary. The card box feels sturdy enough to hold out for a few years, and looks like it could hold about 500 cards. The set itself is an amazing value; for the price of 4 boosters, you get 4 boosters, 225 extra cards, and a card box to store them all and more. I'd recommend this set to anyone looking to start playing Magic, as you can make pretty much any deck you wish from what you're given. The set comes with everything in the pictures except for the sleeves.

Tally Ho playing cards are my go to everyday cards. They have them for a decent price and shipping was way faster than expected. The photos are misleading because it shows the brick of cards with the box which is different from what they sent me. I got two “bundles” of bubble wrapped decks. Then those two bundles were placed in separate USPS Priority boxes, then wrapped in a blank white bubble wrapped package. I can understand if the Tally Ho brick box was damaged but just state that it may come in a box or it may not. Loose decks are just harder to store for me. I will probably order again in the future! Price and shipping > Packaging.

I love the value but the reason I only gave it three stars is because it came with three damaged cards and they are cards that I really like. One of those cards has a significant tear in it. See the pics.

I've purchased Copag cards for our regular poker games for years. The plastic cards hold up well and don't chip or tear. These cards don't appear to be the same quality. They chipped after only 3 uses in our family card games. Haven't even used them for poker yet.

Pre-ordered this deck and Undead Unleased on kidzgeek.com.com a month ago, shipped by kidzgeek.com.com and received both decks as ordered 😎 Negative reviews are probably LGS trolls trying to ruin sales of MTG on kidzgeek.com. I mean, I don't blame their sentiment - it is much more convenient to order the new MTG stuff on kidzgeek.com for better prices and free shipping to my door in general. LGS have a lot of costs to run, and don't have the resources this site does. Whenever I can, I support my local LGS, the ones who have the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. I have never actually played a white/green commander deck (though I have about 2 in the works) after all my years playing MTG so this might be the easiest way for me to hop right in. I might just keep this as my base and then add in cards from my other unfinished decks to supplement. The packaging is interesting - we are used to the actual commander card at the front of the box under the plastic protective sheet, but in this case, it looks like they printed the commander onto the front insert, foil treatment and all. It would be crazy if they want us to actually cut out the card with scissors to use it 😉 Decklist for Coven Counters: COMMANDER: Leinore, Autumn Sovreign Creature (39) 1 Leinore, Autumn Sovereign 1 Kyler, Sigardian Emissary 1 Moorland Rescuer 1 Sigarda's Vanguard 1 Stalwart Pathlighter 1 Wall of Mourning 1 Heronblade Elite 1 Kurbis, Harvest Celebrant 1 Sigardian Zealot 1 Somberwald Beastmaster 1 Angel of Glory's Rise 1 Bastion Protector 1 Custodi Soulbinders 1 Dearly Departed 1 Herald of War 1 Knight of the White Orchid 1 Mikaeus, the Lunarch 1 Odric, Master Tactician 1 Riders of Gavony 1 Victory's Envoy 1 Champion of Lambholt 1 Gyre Sage 1 Kessig Cagebreakers 1 Somberwald Sage 1 Verdurous Gearhulk 1 Wild Beastmaster 1 Heron's Grace Champion 1 Sigarda, Heron's Grace 1 Dawnhart Wardens 1 Abzan Falconer 1 Ainok Bond-Kin 1 Elite Scaleguard 1 Orzhov Advokist 1 Avacyn's Pilgrim 1 Eternal Witness 1 Yavimaya Elder 1 Enduring Scalelord 1 Juniper Order Ranger 1 Trostani's Summoner Sorcery (8) 1 Celestial Judgment 1 Celebrate the Harvest 1 Cleansing Nova 1 Hour of Reckoning 1 Shamanic Revelation 1 Bestial Menace 1 Biogenic Upgrade 1 Growth Spasm Instant (6) 1 Ruinous Intrusion 1 Unbreakable Formation 1 Return to Dust 1 Swords to Plowshares 1 Beast Within 1 Inspiring Call Artifact (6) 1 Lifecrafter's Bestiary 1 Moonsilver Key 1 Arcane Signet 1 Sol Ring 1 Swiftfoot Boots 1 Talisman of Unity Enchantment (4) 1 Curse of Conformity 1 Curse of Clinging Webs 1 Citadel Siege 1 Death's Presence Land (37) 1 Canopy Vista 1 Exotic Orchard 1 Fortified Village 1 Sungrass Prairie 1 Temple of Plenty 1 Blighted Woodland 1 Command Tower 1 Krosan Verge 1 Myriad Landscape 1 Path of Ancestry 1 Rogue's Passage 1 Selesnya Sanctuary 1 Temple of the False God 12 Forest 12 Plains 100 Cards Total

Bought this for my partner for his birthday. I had to send the first one back because box was damaged but the replacement came right away. We are big board gamers with a lot of games. This is a fun euro style strategy game that has some similarities to Grand Austria Hotel, one of my favorite games. A mix of worker placement, dice rolling, multi-use cards and resource management. It’s fun and easy to get to the table. We play this mostly at 2 players but have played at 4 too. Would definitely recommend. The rulebook is good. You can learn the basic game and get going after setting up pretty fast. I always recommend watching how-to-play videos if you seem confused by the rulebook. Sometimes they just make it seem more confusing than it is. The only negative I would say about the rulebook is that it is separated into sections by the main game and each expansion. This is only an issue when you start playing the game and need to look up what certain cards do. Instead of the card explanations being in one section, you have to flip around to the different sections. However, once you’re familiar with the iconography then you’ll be fine. We ended up using the BGG app for the card reference so we could just type in the card number and it pops right up. This way we didn’t have to pass the rulebook back and forth.

UPDATE: I contacted customer services by phone - not the chat - and spoke with a representative about the issue. They were very nice and were able to refund me. The bottom line is still buyer beware, but kidzgeek.com did pull through to right the wrong. I got my package delivered on time and the kidzgeek.com package was undamaged. When I opened the package, I found the WOTC seal coming apart at the seam and figured I'd been hit with one of those resealed boxes scam. When I removed the seal and opened the box, it looked like the packs were fine, but when I pulled the packs out they had obviously been cut open from the bottom and their contents were picked clean. Whoever it was had the foresight to stuff it with basic land cards for weight, which clearly shows this isn't the first time they've done this sort of nonsense. I tried to start a return for damaged product, but it turns out that its not a returnable item for any reason. I checked the listing and it didn't say that anywhere, so I have a feeling this is a common issue where kidzgeek.com would rather just let the consumer swallow the loss rather than solve the problem. Bottom Line: Buy at your own risk because kidzgeek.com will not help you.
