The cards are fine to play with however the order says these are supposed to be 1st edition. I don’t know if some people are getting 1st editions while others aren’t because just like some other reviews I did not get a 1st box or any cards. If they were first edition they would say it on the box or somewhere on the card.

3 stars isn't for the game itself. Game box was damaged with a hole in it.

My brother and I decided to do something different, and we purchased this box without any expectations… but, we were so lucky and we opened a Mana Crypt and Lotus Petal among other very nostalgic cards. I would definitely do it again… it felt like being at the casino.

My packs were new but I almost left a bad review and confused it w the other “red” battle styles trainer box I ordered. The authentic cards have the blue back protectors on ;) my apologies guys. I wonder if others are doing this. The box I ordered from gaming broker (us seller) were re sealed.

Overall a good value set for beginners. The case arrived in good condition. The interior is dirty, but the chips are of good quality. There exists only one dealer button with no big blind or small blind. Easy to carry around to play with family and friends

I personally really like these. I think the questions are of wider age group and easier to answer compared to table topics or other conversation starter games I own. Questions geared towards encouraging families to talk about emotions, feelings and little daily shinanigans. Work better for grade 1 and older imo. Some words such as "criticize" are harder to explain to my just turned 6yo. We spent more time talking about the questions themselves instead of getting an answer. These are just regular cards in a paper container, so for gifting I personally think it looks cheap. If added a tin container or thick plastic case like how table topics do it would look much fancier. But I really like how down to earth the packaging is and does make carrying it on the go much easier. Cards are just regular poker card materials and could use some laminating to make it more durable. So far I've kept it close for dinner time, outdoor or car ride more "connecting", even though I still can't get my son to talk much.

My son opened this for Christmas and there were NO booster packs inside! Not only was there no booster packs the featured card was also bent (see attached picture). I’m beyond upset because this appeared to be factory sealed and showed no signs of being tampered with. My son cried Christmas morning because he thinks he was bad and that’s why Santa gave him an empty tin. I now have to try to explain to my son that mistakes happen and it wasn’t on purpose but I don’t think he believes me. I told him I would buy him a new one but it can never replace the disappoint he got Christmas morning.

  • X-wing ships are not cheap. Unless you can find them on clearance, you're going to be paying around $20 for the small ships and $40-$60 for ones the size of the Ghost. Whether you play the minis game or not, this tiny representation of the ship in Rebels is really nicely done. The Phantom II attaches sturdily and comes off with only minor resistance. The Ghost's stand offer support for the wide, Crunchwrap Supreme-shaped hull and the thing looks really nice sitting on a shelf. I'd been hesitant to get this one for a while but I'm glad I did.

Resealed with baseball cards not worth the risk

This packages was missing the wotc shrink wrap, missing one pack and two others were torn open with cards sitting loosely inside the box. It was also sealed with packing tape on the front. I assumed that ordering from Mtg marketplace would be safe but that was an absolute nogo. Value of cards was extremely low. It's likely that it was opened and card swapped.. Super disappointed.

I ordered two of these and let me just say no regrets. I got exactly what I ordered and it was factory sealed like the description said, I'd like to mention that these boxes are in pristine condition enough to make my eyes widen at how well taken care of these are. after removing the wrapping covering the box I slowly opened it up and it was the most epic feeling in the world. The air created a vacuum-like seal that assured total reassurance that this was indeed the REAL DEAL. Upon opening, I found that everything was inside the box, all 6 booster packs, playmat, and the foil hero cards, deck box, etc. I was very excited to know that the contents of this box had not seen the light for over a decade it made the experience that much more epic to me 😇. I don't know about you reader but let me tell you I love the smell of an old book something about it just makes me feel alive. the inside of the boxes smells exactly like that, musty and old as if you found it in an attic - to some that might be unpleasant, but come on now it's practically aged wine you have to enjoy and bask in all its glory and appreciate it for what it is. I plan on doing a video where I open these packs to see if I get the wooly white rhino :D if I don't that's 100% okay because I love these cards as they are and appreciate the collection. Have a great day now and remember your best is always enough
