Came really fast !! I pulled a really nice card too ^•^
Not sure if "factory seals" are supposed to have glue coming out of the packaging like in the picture....and a pack sealed with holes on top like this.... The cards were not so great so I am not 100% sure if this was tampered with but I want to at least show proof of what I mean.
They got here earlier then expected. They came in a tin (which is a good thing, the mail main shoved it in the mail slot, which damaged the tin, but not the cards). The cards themselves came in amazing shape. The only down side was not my cards in terms of special summons (ritual/fusion/synchro/xyz/link). If you are like me and are looking to have a very large collection and in need of a good size tradable pile. After counting it 3 times, I only had 831, so I was shorted 150+ cards. Update: The seller got back to me and apologized for the issue. They are sending out 200 cards to fulfill my order. Great response time and good customer service.
The packs I opened had one full support art card, one holo, and one holo ex. The “premade deck” pack had ex cards that weren’t holo. I don’t know if this is a print error but it’s very suspicious. The top cards all have no holo foil to them and the bottom one (opened from packs) had the holo.
TL;DR - It's awesome, would recommend. Minor surface defects. Wouldn't buy at the $199 full price, wait for a discount. --- The die is true to the listed size of 160mm and looks like the listing pictures. It's hefty, the one I received weighed in at 6lbs 8.4oz. The exact look varies as the random dice added in aren't going to be identical. The filler dice have a good variety and are well dispersed. There are minor surface defects on some of the faces and some of the edges are definitely sharper than others. Overall, still very well constructed and looks flawless if you're not putting your face right up to it to scrutinize every detail. --- I'm glad to have purchased this die with a discount and am thrilled to have added it to my collection.
Quite irritated! I collect and there were a few reasons why I gave this item a poor rating! 1: package arrived in a bubble mailer where the item was not protected!!! 2: the box when arrived was torn on both ends. 3: the smaller promo card in the front somehow was damaged with a bend in the card. And is now useless in my collection! That card is why I wanted this specific item! For giftable rating: you can’t send someone this if it’s going to arrive like this! Otherwise yes.
Bought these after looking at a LOT of sets on kidzgeek.com. I used to have the chips with dice on them but wanted something a little different that didn’t look cheap, these fit the bill. Good middle of the road price, solid quality chips, good weight and the pictures are printed on the chips, not just stickers which I was worried about. The case is cheaper but it works, the chips are worth the money, everything else is just a bonus.
Order came wrapped up tightly in plastic wrap but was beat up pretty bad. I don’t know if it was the people delivering it or what, I’m just surprised the inside plastic got dented and cracked so badly. Cards are in great shape which is why I’m still somewhat happy overall, but if you want it looking new if you’re a stickler for your tabletop game boxes games then I’d say go out to a store and buy it in person. Boxes get beaten up overtime anyways, it’s the quality of the game itself that matters and I do want to repeat, the cards in in great condition!
Thought used like new would still have new packs still sealed since it was from Bandai thinking someone would have checked a return. All packs were cut open and all rarity above rate gone from an entire box of boosters.
Box arrived crushed on one side and a huge puncture in the back. Returning for a new one. When you order a "new" item you want it to arrive new. Especially if you are giving it as a gift. This wasn't shipping damage. Bad QA. Edit: I reordered this a couple of weeks later and got the same damaged box set back again. Come on! You're killing me smallz!
Well I preordered this box a month ago or so before the release date of April 23rd and it was supposed to arrive around the 30th of April, but it got lost in the mail for a few days so I didn't get it until the 4th of May. The box, not only late, arrived in poor condition as well. It happens, I understand, my luck has been good so far with something like this happening. Out of, let's say, 40 or so boxes I've bought this is the first to arrive like this. All of the packs were there and none of the cards were damaged in anyway, so I'm being generous with the 4/5 stars sense the cards we alright. Now onto the cards, I pulled some pretty good ones if you ask me, I love the Strixhaven art cards a lot. They are quite beautiful and well done. I'm quite happy with my purchase and I'll be buying another one soon.
I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews, however this Charizard was advertised as Near Mint or mint condition. The card arrived very quickly and was packaged very nicely in a sleeve and Top Holder. However, with it being packaged so well, it unfortunately leaves me to conclude that the bend in this card happened before it was sleeved or shipped. This should’ve been advertised. This quality is unacceptable.
I bought this for my son and this is what he had to say about the purchase: "I bought this pack to beef up my card collection, and to make a new deck. I was very excited to see what cards I would get, because so many of the reviews said that they got amazing cards. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when I got through half of the card packs and realized that I had seen a couple of cards 5 TIMES. 51% of the cards are duplicates, triplicates, quadruplets, or quintuplets. I did get 2 legendaries and a planeswalker, so I was excited to see how much these were worth because the other reviews said they had got cards that were worth $40. Mine didn't even amount to 4 dollars. I have been playing magic for a few of years now and have bought many pack of cards from Wizards of the Coast, and none have had more than 3 duplicates. So I am also disappointed that Wizards of the Coast had stooped so low."
The 500 chip set I got has a more compact case than the one pictured (a substitute set maybe?). I prefer the wider case, but not a deal breaker. I compared this set to a similar set a got a few years back. This set has the same weight chips. The chips are not as rich in the color pigments and they have dimples on one side that shouldn't be there IMO. The aluminum case is a little flimsy and not fitted together very well. I hope it holds up because I'm going to keep the set and use it. I'm glad I didn't pay more for this set, but it will work for poker night with the boys. You get what you pay for, I guess. Not terrible, but not great.
