This looked like a nice basic set but when I received it the poker chip colors were a big disappointment. The picture shows bright colors. The white chips were a grey color and the red, green and blue were very dull - very unappealing. The case it came in was nice and would have been convenient. Due to color of the chips I will be returning this product.
Only got the coven counters deck which was the one I didn't really care about or need, I needed the zombie unleashed for a event but now it will have to be reordered
Packs are clearly resealed. Thanks for ruining Christmas
Originally I was very intimidated to purchase pokemon cards off of kidzgeek.com due to a lot of scams. As someone who collects frequently and understands it’s an expensive hobby, I am very pleased with my purchase. Both ETB’s arrived right on time (earlier than expected), and were sealed properly with no damage. I’ve read quite a few mixed reviews on this item, but would highly recommend. Between the two boxes I ended up pulling six full-arts, and multiple holos/reverse holos. One of the full arts being gold, the other rainbow. Very impressed 🙏🏻 Will be purchasing again.
The box was a little bent but all of the cards were in good condition. I got a couple SPR's and even an SCR.
I had purchased a few of these thru LGS and once prior with kidzgeek.com. Each time the products were good, and worth the ~$200 per box at release pricing. I recently decided to buy 2 cases to collect them and keep them sealed, so when kidzgeek.com lowered the prices to around $180, I took the plunge. However instead of shipping them in original case sealed boxes (they come in 6 per large outer case box ) , I received loose and tightly packed kidzgeek.com package. What was immediately weird was when I noticed several of the boxes had extremely loose and wrinkled shirnkwrap... See pics. I think some of these were previously packed and resealed so I sent them back. I would not recommend large purchases for those seeking to keep a case for their collection, as kidzgeek.com appears to send them in singles. Buying one box or two and check carefully for the outer shrink wrap each time. I'm sure kidzgeek.com is not the culprit but you cannot rule out the tempering somewhere when the shrinkwrap looks so suspicious. I give the product 3 stars regardless. As a non-temoered box does give you a chance for fetchland loot, and you also will get around 7-9 mythics, of which some are still worth something. It's really all down to the loot box for fetchland inserts though.
The cards themselves seem fine enough. We ordered the pack of 12 because we were donating items to a Care facility. The first arrived in an kidzgeek.com box but the box the cards were in, as above, was tore up, falling apart. I decided to order a replacement and this time they arrived in a bag, in even worse condition. I gave up. We had to come up with something else to put the cards in. The shipping of these was super disappointing.
I love the fact that it was burned and not a sticker on it, it was the perfect color and everyone was so impressed on how beautiful it is. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase. If I could I would give it 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Edit: This was literally the best pull I've done in pokemon tcg so far. The packs opened like any other that I've opened so far and with my pulls cleared any doubts I had of tampering(at least my own purchase). This was a great purchase, even if I didn't pull the insane rainbow Charizard VMax. The playmat feels so good (texture) to play on or just touch and I love collecting pokemon pins. My original impressions are below. Original: So far I haven't opened the packs. The packaging came ripped slightly on the top but the sides do not seem to be damaged or tampered with. Upon unboxing, there does seem to be tape holding the first 2 cards in place(mentioned in other reviews) and also the packs have slight holes on the tops and bottoms(tampering?). Additionally there are consistent marks behind packs near where you open, usually packs I buy are pretty neat so that's a bit suspicious. I'll edit this review with my pulls later.
I enjoyed organizing and playing with these 3 archetypes. i pretty much got all the ones you need to build the 3 decks! great price!
Arrived in stellar time! Great game we played and fell in love with before buying on kidzgeek.com. Racks seem very sturdy, made of a dense wood product (practical board). Plastic tiles are similar to others I've seen. Case looks great and works well despite a small aesthetic issue (material covering box doesn't meet or stick down completely at a corner). I think a little glue will solve this problem. Elastic holds racks in place inside case.
Two of the 6 boxes were damaged
Cards are great. The box was so smashed it was already open and the box inside, that you’re supposed to be able to keep the cards in, was also smashed and unusable.
Purchased this deck box to house my new “Game Night” Free-For-All set I got for my birthday. The set comes with five 60 count one color decks, accompanying tokens , dice and playguide… but what I encountered was that I needed to at least sleeve those cards. Thing is, the way the original box is set up there’s not much room to dbl sleeve cards to put them back into that box. Enter this deck box. What I like is that this box, most importantly, I can take 5 of UltraPro’s Eclipse 100+ card command deck boxes, leaving me one place to organize that where I can place the (now…) dbl sleeved cards, keeping my set together. (NOTE: THE FIVE BOX ULTRA PRO ECLIPSE POLY SET I MENTION AND SHOWN IN THE PICTURE DOES NOT COME WITH THIS DECK BOX!!! The poly set of 5 indiv boxes was a separate purchase here on kidzgeek.com… my second such purchase and I really like the poly boxes. Reasonably priced at $20 for five at the time of me writing this.) To continue… I can use the token and die drawer slot for the tokens which came with the set… (left side of the pic) or omit a playmat spot and just use that space for whatever. Seemed like a reasonably priced solution for my need to organize the original contents of Game Night into one more permanent spot. The poly decks fit great… best on their side, but and also be placed laying down, front (up) facing. The poly boxes don’t fit top to bottom height-wise… fitting about 1/2 above the sides of the deckbox as the lid’s open, but I have zero issue storing the individual color sets (five, right?) laying down. The deckbox came undamaged, and the lid secures shut via magnets. Overall - having juat received this today, I’m quite pleased with this box and would buy it again. I think it’ll work out nicely for what I intend to use it for… keeping the contents of a starter “Game Night” set… together, after dbl sleeving. Hope this shorty review and pictures helped you in determining what this box of decent quality may fit into your needs!
Wow! I was initially hesitant to grab this deck due to the price which felt a little high for that basic kind of decks you tend to find on kidzgeek.com. So glad I was proven wrong! I adore the structure of this deck. It's seperated into 5 archetypal categories with each one having an additional 6 archetypes that fit into the more general category. 2 out of the 6 are shadow representations. They show you the result of over engaging with an energy or under engaging. Genius! Then there are 12 cards that represent the steps we take through the hero's journey. The guidebook is very well written and has lots of spread options if you're looking for that. I especially love that Isaac gives you ways to more actively work with the cards for self development if you happen to know the specific archetypal energy you're struggling with. I think this really opens up some new possibilities in addition to standard divination! Very cool. The quality of the book and cards is good. I won't say great, but absolutely acceptable and what I was expecting. The artwork is fabulous! Absolutely no complaints. This deck is gorgeous! There just aren't many masculine decks out there and this one is an absolutely essential addition to the space! There are an overabundance of feminine decks available and I own and love many of them, but I am looking forward to using this one to add some variety to my readings for sure! I think they'll be especially useful in readings for men, or couples and relationship readings in general.
