I bought these because the Elite Trainer Boxes (ETB) comes with a lot of extra stuff I don’t need. I hate throwing it away. I do like the cards and wanted to open a few boosters. I got Charizard (a $60 card!) in my 2nd opened booster! I can say for sure these packs are not resealed. They are likely pulled straight out of ETBs and resold considering booster boxes and individual packs of Celebrations were never sold like most sets. Yes you will pay a premium but it’s only natural because of how these packs are attained out of ETBs but you are getting fresh packs that have not been cherry-picked, weighed or resealed. If they have I never would’ve gotten the most valuable card in the entire Celebrations set. Here is a photo for proof.

I bought 5 packs for $4.19. They were sold by mirage games. I pulled 4 EX cards, holos and reverse holos. Price has come down since the initial negative reviews, I took the chance. I was pleased with this purchase, so much nostalgia to be had!

This may not reflect your experience but I got pretty good pulls from all of the packs in my box. I ended up with 3 ex cards, a gx card, and two of my reverse holos were rare. All in all I am quite happy with my purchase. I feel this box would be better suited to collectors rather than players. If you are looking for something for players I would suggest a trainer box as they come with all the essentials.

Bought one of these and got absolutely fantastic pulls. I read reviews that said this box was a scam and that the packs were resealed or less or more packs were given. Here is an important note: as long as you buy a Pokemon product from the verified kidzgeek.com seller (Pokemon Center) I almost guarantee you that the product will be sealed with average or better than average odds. Smaller merchants and stores are more likely to reseal packs than official sellers. I pulled 3 holos, 3 GX cards, and a rainbow rare! only one pack was a dud. I would totally recommend for the price !

Product came on time but had pretty severe edge damage in a few spots.

This deck is gorgeous!! Well worth the price, you can really feel the care and life experience that went into making this. I absolutely adore it and find it brutally honest for readings. 10/10 stars. Just really incredible. The case has a smooth, magnetic close, and I love that it can stand upright like a book. I’m really enjoying learning about the archetypes, too. The artwork is fantastic, so unique and authentic!

I received this game specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews. (Please see the enclosed picture.) Summary: The Card Sharks Game is a game for three or more players (with more than three players, you form teams) that will last about 30-45 minutes. There is nothing objectionable in the game, but just from a general knowledge standpoint, it is probably best as an age 14+ game. Each team deals out seven cards face down, and the game begins. One player does not compete, he or she is the game host and will ask questions. All the questions are of the form, "100 _____ were asked ______, how many said _______ ?" The lead player gives a number, and then the other player or team guesses, higher or lower. If the guess is correct, that player or team takes a turn doing "high/low" on the seven cards. If the guess is wrong, the player or team guessing the number takes its turn doing the high/low sub-game. The first team to turn over all seven cards guessing high/low correctly at each turn wins that round. There are three rounds. During the high/low game, the first card for the team is turned over. That team can elect to replace that card with another from the deck. The team has to accept a replacement card. Then, the team has to guess whether the next card is higher or lower. If the team guesses right, they guess whether the card following is higher/lower. After guessing correctly, the team has the option of "freezing" its progress and passing control to other team, who then goes through high/low sub-game. If the team guesses wrong or the card *matches* the next card then the team must clear its side of the board, deal seven new cards face down, and control passes to the other team. The game will not go on indefinitely. After the fifth wrong guess, the game enters a "sudden death" phase. The first team to make a mistake forfeits the game to the opposing team. The high/low sub-game occurs three times. The first winner gets $1000. The second winner gets $2000, and during the final/third round, the winner gets $3000. Then the game proceeds to the money round. The game proceeds just as the high/low sub-game goes, but the player has to bet at least half of his or her bank on each turn of the card. Before turning over the seventh card, the player can decide to not risk the pot and take their winnings. On to the Dr Games’ Criteria … GO/NO GO Criterion • Complexity: (GO) The game is not complex. There are some nuances, but individual decisions are not complex, and the game is well structured. • Balanced: (GO ) The game is completely balanced. • Chance (GO) The game is a perfect balance of chance and skill. There is a lot of chance in this game, but everyone knows that going into the game. • Clarity: (GO) The rules are not very clear. They do explain how the game works, but the game assumes that the players have seen the TV version of the game or have seen the game played before. Honestly, I had to watch some on-line videos to figure it out. After seeing some demo games and watching the original game on TV, I was able to puzzle out the rules. • Reasonable Time: (GO) The game takes between 30-45 minutes. Bonus Criteria • Social: There is not a specific rule on social interaction, but the nature of the game leads to various people helping and cheers and boos depending on the outcomes of the guesses. • Unique/Interesting Mechanics: The game is based on the TV game-show. There are no unique, non-game-show mechanics. • Informed: It does teach people about probabilities. • Rewards Throughout: Money gained from each round is yours to keep.

Bought this for my son so he had his own cards. It is a great start out option, better than just the starter decks and booster back in 94/95. It gives you SOME core cards, but also alot of block cards. Son isn't complaining. It is a good way to start off a deck. Plenty of mana and cards to make 2 if you want. Downside, I wish the threw in a deck box or two. Big empty space there. Also, it seems as it is packaged only with the same boosters as every other. Think they should have just given 4 core. All in all, my son was happy with it and itching to play his old man in some magic, so it's a big win!

The Deck Box contains : 1 Beginner's Guide with the images of King Kaiser Kaiba and Blue-Eyes White Dragon . 1 Double-sided Deluxe Game Mat/Dueling Guide : The Mat has the images of King Kaiser Kaiba , Blue-Eyes White Dragon and A-to-Z-Dragon Buster Cannon . The Dueling Guide tells you to buy some other packs to get the Secret Rare cards and power up this deck ( Yeah right , maybe after you tear open over 15 packs , you will finally get 1 Secret Rare card , lol ) 1 Deck , check out my photo , I arranged related cards near each other : - The 1st 2 cards are Ultra Rare , the next 3 cards are Super Rare and the last 40 cards are Common . - You will get some A , B , C , X , X , Z , A-to-Z cards , so this is an Alphabetical Deck , lol . - The new card Majesty with Eyes of Blue . - This Deck only has the cards XYZ-Dragon Cannon , XY and XZ . The card YZ is missing so you have to buy it from another set .

I bought this for my spouse who is on deployment because he is recently getting into poke. We hold game nights and he really wanted this set, even did research and found this was best. We were on FaceTime when we opened it together and we’re disappointed. This was an expensive gift and to have it falling apart was aggravating. I’m not saying don’t buy it, but just wish they did better because once again it is expensive.

These cards are not only beautiful, but fun! The quality of the cards are top notch, but I did have a lot of trouble opening up the decks. I had to use tweezers in order to avoid ripping the boxes, so now I won't close them in order to avoid going through that again. The Happy Hour cards have questions that are fun without going too deep. The game is fun with a relaxed crowd, and even fun just taking a moment to read a card daily and find out more about yourself. The Curiosity Edition cards have deeper questions, which definitely require some mental preparedness within the group before playing this version of the game. Considering that these two decks would be over $40 (current price of this starter bundle), it's not a bad price for two decks. I find the Happy Hour more fun for sure, and I'll be using that deck more, but that's just me. Curiosity Edition is definitely for deeper conversations.

I'm playing AH with a group of 3, here's what 2 boxes of core game and 2 expansion plus 12 mythos looks like. I use the broken token to organize investigator cards, then use return to the night zealot to organize the monsters/encounters, but it's not gonna be enough to fit 2/3 of expansion & mythos (which still have to be thrown into bags and stored into my 2nd box. I'm thinkin about a second organizer but I worry it just won't fit... since there's still 3rd expansion plus 6 more mythos. I wish Broken token has better solution than this (one boxes that comes with bottom that doesn't need the core game box to store cards. PS: I use broken token for Gloomhaven & Terraforming Mars they're great fit.

I recently ordered a box of 2020 on kidzgeek.com with no problem so I will report this and see what happens. If the seller sends me better packs as a replacement I'll update this. As you can see in pic 1, if you look at the text directly below the barcode, the pack has been resealed and it looks like melted back together. **** Edit*** Thanks to kidzgeek.com's easy return process I took the box to the Khol's by my house and a new one was delivered in one bus. day. The box was not tampered with and I'm happy with the purchase. I've also done some research and found that the seller rarely tampers with the packs, it's buyers who go through them then return them. So I should just make it clear I'm not blaming the seller for the first box. In pic 2, if you look down and to the right of the barcode, there is a hole in the foil and then (hard to see in picture) a small line going to the top of the pack where you can see it's been resealed. Pic 3 is to demonstrate multiple packs were resealed the same, sloppy way. I even opened the box topper and 3 packs to check out the inside. I didn't think to check the packaging on the boxtopper so can't say if it was opened but the card was meh. The first two packs (other than the outside) showed no visible signs of tampering. The third pack the cards were all facing different directions, obviously not machine packed.

Came exactly as described. I've always wanted to add this card to my collection and now I'm proud to own one. It's in excellent condition. If I ever decide to pruchase another one I know where to look first.
